Our Alexandrite laser is an extremely effective treatment for many skin problems. We are able to treat facial wrinkles, freckles, sun damaged skin on the face and neck, birthmarks such as hyperpigmentation and hemangiomas, blue veins around the eyes, and venous lakes on the lips. We also treat spider veins on the face and legs.
Laser Hair Reduction:
In the past, the only options for permanent hair reduction were either painful, unsatisfactory or both. Now, men and women alike will be pleased with the results made possible by our technologically advanced laser hair removal process.
We use the GentleLASE by Candela, a revolutionary long-pulse alexandrite laser that transmit light energy through the skin to the hair follicle. The GentleLASE system is precise and can be computer-adjusted to the exact parameters that will disable the hair germ cells in the follicle, minimally affecting the surrounding skin, and considerably increasing the efficiency of the hair reduction process. By delivering an effective energy beam deep into the tissue, the Alexandrite laser ensures predictable results, patient comfort, and a high degree of safety.
The skin is further protected during treatment by a 'Dynamic Cooling Device' which sprays cryogen onto the skin a fraction of a second before the light energy. This cools the upper layers of the skin and provides patients with increased comfort.
The alexandrite laser is considered to be the state-of-the-art laser for permanent hair reduction. A large area of the skin can be treated at one time making laser hair removal more cost-effective and faster than other methods. Laser treatments are safe, fast, gentle, and effective. Multiple treatments will usually lead to a permanent reduction of hair in the areas treated. Everyone is different and that means that everyones treatment plan will be different. The average amount of treatments a person will need to lead them to a permanent reduction of hair is 4-6. Some people are less and some are more.
Removing hair does not make it grow back thicker and darker. The opposite is usually the case as hairs that may regrow are more thin. Any area of the body can be treated including the face, neck, arms, shoulders and back, bikini area, and legs.
