About Ms. Rozendaal
Kara Rozendaal, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Since joining Dorset Street Dermatology in 2018, she has been dedicated to providing compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all ages in South Burlington, Vermont.
Kara earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Franklin Pierce University after completing her bachelor's degree in History and Premedical Studies at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Massachusetts. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
She enjoys caring for a wide variety of dermatologic conditions and believes that building trusting, long-term relationships with her patients is one of the most rewarding aspects of her career. Many of her favorite moments come from seeing familiar faces year after year and caring for multiple generations of families.
Whether she is treating a chronic skin condition, performing a skin cancer screening, or discussing cosmetic treatment options, Kara strives to ensure every patient feels heard, comfortable, and confident in their care.
Dedicated to lifelong learning, Kara maintains active memberships in the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA) and the Vermont Academy of Physician Assistants (VTAPA), where she previously served as the student delegate to the board.
A proud native Vermonter, Kara loves cheering on Vermont Green FC, spending summer days on the lake, and enjoying the outdoors with her big dog. She also enjoys skiing, hiking, and spending time with family and friends. Kara welcomes new patients to Dorset Street Dermatology.
